Largo and Allegro by Benedetto Marcello arranged for any saxophone solo with piano. These are the last two movements of Marcello’s Cello Sonata, Opus 2, No. 1, one of many solo instrumental works he wrote. The music is strongly influenced by Antonio Vivaldi.
This transcription is for any saxophone solo with piano. It includes solo parts for soprano/tenor and alto/baritone saxophones. It is in the original key and of moderate difficulty.

Benedetto Marcello was a Venetian composer, author, and teacher. Born into a noble family, he also was active in the government of Venice. He was the brother of Allesandro Marcello, also a notable composer. Marcello composed a wide range of music including church music, oratorios, solo cantatas, and chamber music.
